The most frequently used application in the asphalt industry is using one scale to control the flow of another. This combination enables the plant to run at a certain flow rate and blend other materials at a predetermined percentage of the main feed. If the TPH of the main feed changes, the second scale adjusts automatically to keep the ratios consistent. Belt-Way’s Liquid Integrator is used to accurately blend asphalt emulsion with the aggregate.

When recycling material, the Belt-Way conveyor belt scale is used at both the crusher and screen discharge. Each scale will give the operator an accurate total of material that has been recycled.
