Belt-Way Analog/Digital I/O The I/O Board has two channels of 12 bit analog output available to the user. Each channel can be configured as 4-20 mA, 0-20 mA, 0-5 VDC, or 0-10 VDC to represent the rate of material crossing the scale. Analog output can be used to feed information to a P.L.C., drive a Chart Recorder, or flash data on a Scoreboard Display. Programmable pulsed outputs (including A/B Quadrature Wave Form) are used for connection to a P.L.C. or external counter. The Low-Speed Alarm / Speed Interlock output may be programmed to turn on if the speed falls below the programmed value, or turn on when the belt speed is above the programmed value. The I/O Board is in conjunction with the scale's high speed NETWORK and built-in P.I.D. Loop Control to accomplish automated blending of several ingredients.
