Belt-Way Conveyor Belt Scale Control Features
Click the image to view larger version The "Belt-Way" Control is housed in a rugged NEMA 4X, corrosion resistant fiberglass enclosure. A power supply is included for use with 120 volt AC or 220 volt AC. Direct connection to 12 volt DC or 24 volt DC requires no modification (just eliminate the power supply). The standard Vacuum Fluorescent Display is easy to read and provides accumulated weight, current production rate (in English, or Metric tons per hour), belt speed, and % Load on the scale. Master total, calibration settings, and a production information is available at the touch of a button.
Data Collection Log data to a Printer, P.C., Modem, or Scoreboard style display using our standard RS-232 Output. The "Belt-Way" NETWORK Lightning fast and easy to use! The "Belt-Way" NETWORK transmits information via coaxial cable. Collect data from one, or multiple scales, to monitor production on site. Or, connect a modem to the "Belt-Way" Remote Display and monitor production from anywhere! Any P.C. with MICROSOFT WINDOWS 95, WINDOWS 98, WIN2K or XP will interface with the "Belt Way" Control DIRECTLY. No additional software is required. Auto Zero Function Automatically compensates for variance, due to build-up of material on the empty belt, or changes in belt tension due to temperature, etc. Optional 2 Channel I/O Board 1. Pulse Output - Use the pulse output to a PLC or remote counter to integrate "Belt-Way" scales with your existing system - Quadrature waveform included. 2. Load-Out Systems - Program up to eight preset load weights and print a ticket if desired. Add a "Belt-Way" Remote Start/Stop Station for easy, accurate loading. 3. Drive a Chart Recorder - Use one of the analog outputs to record the actual rate crossing the scale on a chart recorder 4. Control Feed Rate - Use the P.I.D. Loop Control feature to program a desired Flow Rate. The scale will control the flow rate using one of the analog outputs. 5. Open Loop Blending - Use up to four analog outputs to control up to four ingredients added to the material crossing the belt scale. Note - Use of an open loop system does not monitor flow rates of additives. 6. Closed Loop Blending - Closed loop blending uses a scale, or flow meter, to measure the flow rate of each additive. P.I.D. Loop control is often used to control the flow rate of the main scale on the NETWORK, as well as the proportion of each additive.
